Two days on a scooter along Taiwan’s northeast coast: fishing harbours, teahouses, sea cliffs and the lanterns of Jiufen.

Day 1
Taipei to the northeast coast
Rent a scooter in Taipei or Keelung and head for the coast early, before the tour buses.
Ride to Keelung
Follow the river and highway north to the harbour city.
